We're delighted to invite you to a practical and informative safety session, presented by Kidsafe ACT and hosted by Canberra Women & Babies.

What you can expect:

Car Seat Safety & Purchase Guide (30 minutes) - 1pm for a 1:10pm start

• Learn what to look for when choosing the right car seat for your family

• Understand how to correctly fit your child in their seat

• Tips for safe, everyday use

• Hands-on exploration of demonstration car seats with time for questions

• Option to book a private car seat purchase consultation
  (Accessories available for purchase, including rear-facing mirrors and vehicle seat protectors)

Afternoon Tea - 1:45pm

• Enjoy a relaxed break and connect with other parents and carers

Home Safety Essentials (30 minutes) - 2pm start

• Practical advice on common risks including water safety, falls, poisons, and button batteries

• Guidance on safety around driveways, carparks, bikes, prams and baby carriers

• Try out childproofing products and ask questions
  (Home safety items available for purchase, including magnetic locks)

Whether you’re preparing for your baby’s arrival or navigating the early years, this session offers valuable, real-world advice to help you create a safer environment for your child.
